LOLA MARILYN SHORTLE Born November 30, 1922 in Sioux Falls South Dakota passed away August 17, 2009 in Sun City California. She attended some college at UCLA and later was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Robert J. Shortle sons Robert J. Shortle Jr. of Houston, Texas and Richard Kent Shortle of Los Alamitos, California sister Lois Spielvogel of Minot, North Dakota 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday August 21, 2009 at 9:00am followed by a funeral service at 10:00am at the Evans Brown Sun City Mortuary. Interment will follow at 11:30am at the Riverside National Cemetery. CARL RICHARD “RICK” BOHANNON 59, Passed away August 14, 2009 at Hemet Valley Medical Center. Services will be at 10:00am, August 22nd at The Village, 2200 W. Acacia, Hemet. The Reverend Don Adams officiating. Hemet Valley Mortuary handling arrangements. Mr. Bohannon, born in Stamford, Texas February 25, 1950, lived in Hemet for the past 32 years. After many years in the automobile painting industry, he worked as a parts man at Hemet Chrysler for 15 years. Mr. Bohannon was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Lee Bohannon and nephew, Richard Beach. He is survived by his mother, Patsy Bohannon of Hemet; a sister, Tyra Sword of Coto De Caza; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Sharon Bohannon of Irvine; three sons, Rick and wife Debbie of Goodyear, AZ, Tom and Jonathan of Denver, Colorado; three grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins, along with his soulmate in life, Karen J. HELLEN L. DEVLIN Born in Springfield, Illinois on August 15, 1917, passed away on August 11, 2009 at her residence in Moreno Valley with her family by her side. She is survived by her only daughter, Michelia Uribe of Moreno Valley; 1 grandson, Anthony Uribe, also of Moreno Valley; sister-in-law, Joan Hewitt; many nieces and nephews; her cats, Cookie and Ernie and numerous other pets.
