ALFONSO DELIRA VASQUEZ “SHORTY” SR.
75 of Ontario passed away October 28, 2009 at home. He was born February 13, 1934 in Cucamonga, Ca and was an area resident all his life. “Shorty” was a former owner of a family concrete construction Co. and an U.S. Army veteran, Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife Mary Hope Vasquez; 6 children Alfonso Vasquez Jr., Dorothy Ann Vasquez, David Vasquez & Debra Vasquez all of Ontario, Mic hael Vasquez, Alta Loma, Tina Marie Vasquez, Ontario; 10 siblings -Ladislado Vasquez, Jr., Riverside; Jess Vasquez, Ontario; Louie Vasquez, Fontana; John Vasquez, Rancho Cucamonga; Margaret Robles, Pomona; Petra Vasquez, Jennie Vasquez & Frances Vasquez all of Fontana; Marylou Vasquez, San Bernardino; Esther Valdez, Fontana; seven grandchildren Melissa Gonzales, Jessica Gonzales, Alfonso Vasquez III, Ashley Vasquez, Vanessa Vasquez, Jacob Vasquez, Joel Vasquez; 7 great-grandchildren Victor ia Galvin, Alyssa Galvin, Jeremiah Ahumada, Zechariah Ahumada, Michael Ahumada Al Alexander Perryman, Nicolas Domingo Nunez. Visitation will be 11:00 AM Monday (11/02) until service time at 12:00 PM at Calvary Apostolic Church, 602 Virginia, Ontario, CA. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park, Ontario. Stone Funeral Home, Upland in charge of arrangements.
