Aaron E. Jones passed away on Friday, Dec. 18, at John Muir Medical Center in Concord after a long illness., Aaron was born in Helper, Utah, on Sept. 6, 1941., He joined the U.S. Army in 1962 and was stationed in Alaska and Ethiopia, assigned to intelligence. He was honorably discharged in 1968, which also included time in the Army Reserves., Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, with visitation at 9:30 a.m., both at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 360 Portsmouth Drive, Vacaville., Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon., Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association ., Arrangements are by McCune Garden Chapel, 448-6546.
