3/1/27-1/22/10. Albert Guidi was born and raised in San Anselmo to Celestino and Corrina Guidi. After graduating Tamalpais High School he worked in the family business, Marin County Poultry Company in San Anselmo. In 1950 Albert met Beverly Oliva, who lived in San Francisco. After three months of dating, they were married on August 6, 1950. She was the love of his life and the two recently celebrated their fifty-ninth wedding anniversary. They raised two sons, Jeffery (and Dana) and Robert (and Sandra); and seven grandchildren: Jennaway, Corey, Lance, Shanon and Jesse, Colin and Andrew. Albert is predeceased by his parents, and siblings Mary Zampatti, Lawrence and Cyril Guidi. Albert enjoyed gardening at his longtime home in Fairfax. He enjoyed hunting trips with his two sons and grandsons. Given his lack of precision, his sons and grandchildren enjoyed a much greater opportunity to shoot birds. His other love was the Fairfax Parlour of the Native Sons of the Golden West where he played many pedro games with his close friends in the club. Albert belonged to the Parlour for over fifty years. Albert enjoyed his annual vacations with friends and family at King’s Beach in Lake Tahoe. Albert spent many years as a coach and President of the Fairfax Little League. Heartfelt thanks go out to the many Oak Manor neighbors and all the loving friends who have offered their love and support over the past several months. A rosary will be held on January 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rita’s Church in Fairfax. The family would like to suggest a contribution to Hospice, in lieu of flowers. MONTE’S CHAPEL OF THE HILLS SAN ANSELMO (415)453-8440
