Anthony Pueyo Born March 27, 1919, died in Burlingame on February 23, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Eileen Pueyo to whom he was married for over 46 years. He was a loving father to his sons Martin Pueyo of Phoenix , Michael Pueyo of Burlingame, Brendan Pueyo of San Francisco, the late Anthony Pueyo, and the late Robert Pueyo. He was the cherished grandfather of Joseph, Theresa, Vincent, Thomas, Steven, Anthony, Kelly, and Brian. He was the treasured father-in-law of Christine Pueyo and Sylvia Yu. He was the brother of Stephen Pueyo of Rancho Cordova. Anthony was known more affectionately as ‘Tony’ by friends. Tony was born in Flagstaff, Arizona. He moved to San Francisco as a teenager. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the 32nd Medical Battalion. Tony returned to San Francisco after the war. Tony retired from the United States Postal Service after a career of over 30 years. Friends and family are invited to a visitation and rosary service that will be held on Monday, March 1st, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Crosby- N. Gray & Co., at 2 Park Road in Burlingame. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Burlingame on March 2, 2010. Burial will take place after the funeral mass at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
