Auntie was a long time resident of Ventura. For 35 years she was a successful, hard working, self employed seamstress. Auntie enjoyed her gardening, camping, bar-b-cues with family and friends and an occasional trip to Vegas and the Chumash Casino. She had an open heart and home to all, loved by many and a stranger to few. Her hospitality was enjoyed by all who had the opportunity to come in contact with her. Auntie was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Jazo; Brothers, Manuel, Domingo, Frank Martinez and Phillip Jazo. She is survived by her two brothers from Ventura; Augustine Martinez (Alene) and Rudy Jazo (Marsha), sister Esther Martinez of Ventura; daughter Emily Ortiz; four grandchildren (10) great grandchildren, (10) great great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
