Don Boyd
DON W. BOYD 04/10/1962 ~ 03/04/2010 Don, age 47, was welcomed into heaven on March 4, 2010 in Loma Linda, due to heart failure. He was born and raised in Riverside and graduated from Ramona High School in 1980. He served in the U.S. Air Force as Airman 1st Class from July 1981 until he was honorably discharged in April 1983. Over the years, Don worked for Frazee Paint, Burns International Security Services, and Wackenhut Security. He resided at Emeritus in Loma Linda his last four years with us. Devoted son of Sharon and Richard Neveau of Apple Valley and Ernie and Barbara Boyd of Oregon. Loving grandson of Betty Wyatt of Riverside. Beloved brother of Cindy and Richard Roth and Dan and Beth Boyd, all of Riverside; Lisa and John Price of Arizona. Caring uncle to Jennifer Boyd of Washington; Nikki Mackesy of Arizona; and Lauren Boyd of Riverside. Great uncle of Jacob Pacheco of Washington. Also survived by 2 step-brothers and 3 step-sisters and their families, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Don enjoyed helping others, playing cards, pool, and video games, trying his luck at the casino, watching NASCAR races, and visiting friends and family. He was also a dedicated Chargers fan. Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area #9 on Thursday, March 11 at 11am. We will remember Don as a caring person. He will live forever in our hearts.
