Esther Kimball
Esther Kimball Esther D. Kimball, age 96, passed away March 3, 2010 at The Country Villa in Seal Beach, California. She was born April 18, 1913, in Los A ngeles, California. She married Charles Kimball July 19, 1941 in Long Beach, California. She is survived by her sister, Ellen Zaffke of Seal Beach; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Shirley Rasmussen of Hamilton, Montana; daughter-in-law, Verna Kimball of Seal Beach; and sister-in-law, Bernice Rasmussen of Long Beach. She is also survived by nieces, Eileena Kalanick, Sheila Rose, Elizabeth Matthew and Diane Walden; nephews, Robert Rasmussen, David Rasmussen and William Rasmussen. She is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Elsie Rasmussen; her husband, Charles Kimball; stepsons, Forrest and Richard Kimball; sister, Dorothy Stiner; brother, Eric Rasmussen; and nephew, Michael Stiner. She was also loved by her step-grandchildren, Bob Kimball, Bill Kimball and Carolyn Kimball. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn, Cypress at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10 at Forest Lawn, Cypress, 5 to 9 p.m.
