Ann McGuinness
Ann McGuinness moved on to her heavenly home on Saturday, April, 24, 2010. Ann had been ill for many months and was surrounded by family members and friends at the moment of her passing. Ann was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 18, 1929. She and her husband, Joseph, relocated to Los Angeles in 1965 and raised their five children in Woodland Hills. Their children attended Saint Mel’s Catholic School, where Ann was actively involved and taught CCD Classes. The children attended Louisville and Crespi High Schools in Los Angeles and Eastside Catholic High School in Seattle. For the past 25 years, Ann had been a resident of Rolling Hills Estates and had been active at Saint John Fisher Catholic Church. Ann is survived by her loving husband, Joseph. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on October 16th of last year. Ann is also survived by her daughter, Maureen of Idaho; her sons, Joseph and Michael of Palos Verdes, Thomas of Manhattan Beach and James of Gig Harbor, Washington. Ann is also survived by fifteen adoring grandchildren. Her most enjoyable moments occurred when she was in the company of one or all of her grandchildren. The love affair was mutual. A Mass celebrating Ann’s life is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Saint John Fisher Parish in Palos Verdes, Peninsula. Please sign the guestbook at
