DIANE LORRAINE BERGE
DIANE LORRAINE BERGE was suddenly taken from her family and friends on May 26, 2010. She was born to Daniel and Sydney French in San Gabriel, CA on July 16, 1965 and was raised in San Bernardino. She graduated from Pacific High School in 1983 and remained living in Southern CA and Arizona while working a variety of jobs focused on management and retail. Diane married Mike Griffiths and they were blessed with a daughter, Amanda Jane; They were later divorced. But Diane later met and married Eric Berge. Diane and Eric suffered the loss of a baby girl, Christina; but were later blessed again with a son, Brian. Diane’s family misses her greatly but take in solace in knowing she is at peace. She left behind her husband, Eric Berge, son, Brian Berge, daughter, Amanda Griffiths, mother, Sydney Loynd-Jones, father, Daniel French, sisters, Danielle Boldt and Dina McDonell. Her family will be holding a private memorial event.

DIANE SCHRAMM ELLIS passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, in Fontana, California. She was 75 years old. Diane was a graduate of Mercy College of Nursing, class of 1958, in San Diego. She is fondly remembered by her classmates, especially for the angel Christmas tree ornaments she made and passed out at the class reunions. She is survived by her loving husband of over forty years, Bob. Burial: Thurs., June 17, 2010, 1 P.M. at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 No. Potrero Grande Drive, S. San Gabriel, CA.

DOROTHY ELIZABETH MLADINOV
beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully in her home from Acute Myeloid Leukemia on May 14, 2010. Dorothy was born on December 13, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Julia Dobias. Dorothy, affectionately known as “Dot,” is survived by Joseph Mladinov Jr. PhD, her husband of 49 years and high school sweetheart; her three children and their spouses, Joseph Mladinov III and Aries of Pomona, Cyndi Mladinov and Tynan Schmidt of Santa Monica, and Chris Mladinov and Anne Kim of Santa Monica; her 6 grandchildren, Jake Schmidt, Keaton Schmidt, Vincent Mladinov, Joseph Mladinov IV, Jonco Mladinov and Genevieve Mladinov; two sisters, Dolores George and Judy Groner of Illinois, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Dot worked as an x-ray technician at St. Bernard’s in Chicago and moved to Upland in June 1968 to raise her family. Dot quickly became involved with the local PTA, Girl Scouts and youth sports. Dot had recently retired after 20 years at San Antonio Community Hospital as a surgery technician. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, 2110 N. San Antonio Avenue in Upland on Friday, June 4th at 2pm. Following the Mass, at 4pm, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Ontario Masonic Hall located at 1025 North Vine Avenue in Ontario. All are welcome to attend. Dot was an 11 year survivor of breast cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dot’s name may be made to the Susan G. She was a special wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who brought joy and happiness to those around her. Stone Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
