Gregory (Keeny) Pacheco Of Concord, CA passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2010 after fours years of battle with cancer. In his usual style, he didn’t give up easily. HIs childhood love & wife, Daisy Pacheco, daughter, Loraina Velez, grandchildren, Desiree and Christian, sons, Tony, Pancho, Ruben Velez were with him on his passing. Born Joaquin Gregorio Pacheco on July 12, 1936 in Longmont Colorado to the late J. D.” Casey” Pacheco and Catherine Pacheco in Longmont, Colorado; Keeny was the 4th of five brothers. He’s preceded in death by brothers, Casey, Bucky and Vito and survived by his brothers, Roger & Rodney Pacheco, sisters, Terry Casias, Karen Estabar and Laura Murillo. His father moved the family to San Francisco in the early forties to work on the waterfront to support his young family. Keeny grow up in the city. He enlisted in the Army during the Korean Conflict stationed at Presidio, He later became a driver for a number of companies. He loved driving cross country and crossed most of the USA. Keeny was Driver of The Year for American Red Ball, Later he joined his oldest brother at his company, Casey’s Office Moving and Storage, and worked there until he retired. Throughout his life, a hard worker, he considered himself a professional and took pride in his occupation. His and Daisy’s family, his mother in law, daughter, sons and grandchildren, as well as his loving aunt in Colorado, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins through out the Western States, Colorado and New Mexico, will sorely miss him. No words can express how much he gave of himself to help his family as well as others. All with his great smile and crazy sense of humor. True to his nature of giving; Keeny donated his body to Med Cure in Portland Oregon for medical research so as to help those in the future suffering from Cancer. Med Cure also extends financial support to Medical Research Institutes, such as Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, National Foundation for Cancer Research,, & Others. The family would like to extend its sincerest appreciation to ASERA Care Hospice in Concord for their professional care and kindness, not only to Keeny but also to his wife Daisy and her family during this difficult time. The family will be offering a “Celebration of Keeny’s Life” reception in the near future and will advise family and friends of the date and location. (Daisy Pacheco) (925) 680-2733.

Jack A. Brittain 1/15/24 - 6/26/2010 Passed away peacefully at home in San Francisco on June 26, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He will be sorely missed by his wife of 59 years Elena, his daughter Carla, his son Mark, daughter-in-law Judy, and his two grandsons, Ryan and Scott. He also leaves behind his surviving sister Billie and his cherished extended family: sister-in-law Paola Bagnatori, nieces Sandra Bagnatori; Lisa Bagnatori, husband Andy Ross and their children, Sam and Ella; along with many more nieces and nephews around the country. Jack was proud of his service in the Marine Corps during World War II at the South Pacific Force Headquarters in New Caledonia. Later, he ran a tax preparation and accounting business in North Beach, then moved on to the accounting department at Fugazi Travel, where he made many friends. Jack’s passions were 49ers football, his weekend retreat in Sonoma and especially his two grandsons, who were the light of his life. His modest, unassuming and generous nature, along with his dry wit made him much beloved by everyone he met. Please join Jack’s family for a celebration of his life on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, 7:00 pm at the Museo ItaloAmericano, Bldg. C, Fort Mason Center, SF, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Museo ItaloAmericano or the St. Anthony’s Foundation.

Noah Daniel Stumbaugh of Victorville, born March 20, 2008, was taken from this world on June 19, 2010 in a home fire., He was given to us for a short time but in that time was beautiful and precious as a little boy can be. He was loving and loved to be loved. He learned to call me Papa from his older brother who also showed him for the first time to use the urinal on his last morning. He would see the school bus from the picture window dropping off his brother and he would get excited and say, Misah home.” (Jerimiah), He loved walking in my work boots around the house when he visited. We nicknamed him White Cloud after visiting the Indian Christian Youth Camp with Teen Blaze with Pastor Henry and Sandy Mena. He was learning the name, “Jesus.”, We will always miss you., “Take this cup from us Lord we don’t understand.”, We miss you Papi., He is survived by his mom Estrella Natasha Celis and father Joseph Stumbaugh; brother Jerimiah Caleb Spelling; grandparents Mike and Christina Otero; grandfather Andy Celis; grandparents Danny and Wanda Stumbaugh; and great-grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins., Donations accepted due to loss of possessions., Services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 29 at Victor Valley Mortuary, 15609 11th St. in Victorville.
