Christine M. Polson
Christine M. Polson, age 80 years, a longtime resident of Danbury and more recently of Bethel, died on Monday evening July 26th in Danbury Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Polson. Mrs. Polson was born in Norwalk, CT on September 29, 1929, a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Weigl. She was raised in Wilton and made her home in Redding for many years before relocating to Danbury in 1973. Survivors include her two sons, John Tooker and his wife Vivian of New Fairfield and Robert Tooker and his wife Debbie of Williamstown, NY; one brother, Walter Weigl and his wife Alberta; four sisters, Barbara Amundsen, Mary Guggies, Ann Lord and Elsie Duxbury; seven grandchildren, John, Michelle, Kristy, Amanda, Melissa, Matthew and Abigail; three great grandchildren, Kailey, Autumn, and Zackery Tooker; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Polson was also predeceased by her son, William Tooker and her daughter, Margaret Tooker. A graveside service will be held on Friday August 6th at 10 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Wilton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Polson may be made to the, , 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897-2523. Arrangements are by the Bouton Funeral Home, 31 West Church Street, Georgetown, CT.
