Surrounded by his family, Curtis peacefully went home to be with Jesus, His Savior on July 26, 2010. Beloved husband of Ann for 59 years; loving father to Frank (Marlene) of Berea, Ohio, Jane (Ron) and Susan (John) of Lebanon Oregon, Bruce (Sandra) of Redding, CA, and James (Sherry) of Santa Rosa. Proud grandfather of Lisa, Desirae, Rick, Brian, Luke, Robert, John, Austin and Jeremiah. Great-grandfather of Joe and Aubree; great-great-grandfather of Taiya. Born in Sacramento, CA, Curt was raised in Berkeley, CA. He joined the Navy and served in World War II. He worked for Pacific Bell for 35 years. He loved to golf, ride bikes, garage sales, second hand stores, Genealogy and computer games. He loved to joke. He sang You Are My Sunshine to all his children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Frank, granddaughter Lisa, parents Harry and Gertrude, brothers George, Frank and sisters Loretta and Phyllis. He is survived by his brother David and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Curtis was an active member of Northbay Christian Faith Center. He loved going to church and Bible study. He loved the Lord with all his heart. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at Eggen & Lance Chapel at 1540 Mendocino Avenue. Services will be held at Eggen & Lance Chapel on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Officiated by Pastor Roger Keller. Followed by Military Honors at the Veterans Patio at Santa Rosa Memorial Park at 1900 Franklin Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA. Followed by a reception at the Northbay Christian Faith Center, 920 Link Lane, Santa Rosa. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Northbay Christian Faith Center.
