Jesse Myrick III
Jesse Lee Myrick III July 28, 1952-August 25, 2010 Passed away unexpectedly on August 25th at the age of 58. He was preceded in death by his father Jesse L. Myrick Sr. and his sister Beth. Jesse is survived by his devoted mother, Ikiko Mataki, his beloved wife of 11-years Siobhan McAuliffe-Myrick; his cherished children, Justin and Jessica Myrick, loving stepson Robert M. Balmy McAuliffe, close friend and mother of his children, Patricia O. Williams and adored siblings, Tony, Stephanie, Evie, Tyrone and Tommy. Jesse also leaves behind many cousins, friends and fellow police offices and will be dearly missed by all. Jesse was a 34-year veteran officer of the San Francisco Police Department and had recently retired in June. He met his wife and love of his life Siobhan while working in the Northern Station and they became partners. His main assignments included working in the Northern Station and Tactical Unit. He was an excellent Police Officer and gained respect within the communities he served while demonstrating compassion and fairness to those he encountered on the street. Private visitation for family and friends will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, August 30th at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. Public visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31st at St. James Church, 23rd and Guerrero Sts., San Francisco followed by a Vigil Service to begin at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 1st at 11 a.m. also at St. James Church, 23rd and Guerrero Sts. followed by a Committal at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Old Mission Road, Colma, Ca. Donations may be made to the Northern CA. Hemophilia Foundation in memory of Jesse Lee Myrick III.
